Creative Ideas for Beautiful Gallery Walls

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Gallery Wall Ideas (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides and ideas about planning, arranging and styling gallery walls, for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the guides clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Walls, frames, furniture and light differ from one room to the next, so the measurements in the guides are starting points to check against your own space. Time and difficulty estimates are approximate.

Disclaimer

The content of the site is general information. It is not professional interior design, building, electrical, legal or rental advice, and it does not take your particular wall, building or lease into account. You decide what to do in your own space, and you do it at your own risk.

  • Walls, paint and surfaces. Wall construction, paint and finishes vary. We accept no liability for marks, holes, lifted paint or any other outcome for walls, floors, frames, artwork, furnishings or property that follows from applying an idea found on the site.
  • Mounting hardware and hanging. Choose mounting hardware that suits your wall type and the weight of the piece, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the hardware and for the frame. The site does not state what any wall, hook or product can hold. Take particular care with anything hung above a bed, a sofa or another place where people sit or sleep.
  • Adhesive and removable products. Test hooks, strips and tapes on a small hidden area first, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for applying and removing them.
  • Drilling, tools and working at height. Pipes and cables can run behind a wall. Use tools, ladders and step stools as their makers instruct, and ask a qualified professional when you are unsure. We accept no liability for injury that follows from hanging, drilling or working at height.
  • Your lease. If you rent, check your lease and ask before making a change you are unsure about. Nothing on the site says what a lease or a building’s rules allow.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Gallery Wall Ideas. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the guides for personal, non-commercial purposes;
  • apply any idea on your own walls and adapt it however you like;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole guides or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site links to a small number of third-party reference pages that we think are useful. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Gallery Wall Ideas is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from following its guides or from any change you make to a wall or a room after reading them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information is handled when you use the site.
